Who is Stacy?

Me.

I’m Stacy.

I’m not really a workaholic. And I’m not so much into romantic comedies or music on the radio. I hate the smell of cigarette smoke, and I don’t really like wearing my glasses in public.

But I love to read, and I love to write. Words are my friends. They are the very medium in which I am able to express myself. I am a passionate individual. I stand for what I believe in, and I do it wholeheartedly. I am a lover of nature. I would choose a weekend in the mountains over a weekend in Vegas. I climb trees to get a better view, but also to observe life at a different angle. I like to collect photos, and I love to draw.. Both of which I haven’t done much of, lately. I particularly like movies that you have to watch more than once, either to completely understand them or to catch details you missed the first time around (basically anything by Christopher Nolan). I love animals. Dogs are in the top ten–Golden Retrievers have a special place in my heart. I love running. There’s no other activity like it. My Nike Free Runs are some of the best investments I’ve ever made. Swimming is up my alley, too. I’m too clumsy. I normally wouldn’t think so, but constant reinforcement from my friends have proven it to be true. I love to eat ethnic foods. My latest obsession is Lebanese. I am very protective of people who are special to me. I will defend them with every last ounce of strength if I need to. I like piano music. “Postcards From Far Away” has been my ringtone for the past 6 months, and going. I’m attracted to men who make me think. Men who are mature, genuine, kind, and trustworthy. I am a child of God. I’ve accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. My heart’s desire is to be a woman of noble character.

I don’t want to have a comfortable life. I aim for a life that is constantly pushing me to work harder, be better, be stronger. I may not be the best at everything I do, but I always do it with everything I’ve got. I never want to rest in a state of indifference. This world could change considerably if everyone rejected apathy.

Are you still reading? Does it feel like you know me well enough yet?

I did what I could. The rest is up to you to find out.

Cheers, and welcome to my blog.

-Stacy
